November Workparty of 34 volunteers was an epic effort and result from many groups:
- JSG of course
- 20 8-11 year olds from Nature Kids;
- @EvergreenBC who brought the tools and cinamon buns.
- Parks Board removed blackberry & knotweed then supplied us 140 native trees, shrubs & ferns;
- @LMGreenteam who cleared english ivy;
Thanks to everyone, this area on west side of Jericho Park that used to be infested with blackberry, knotweed & ivy is now a great example of what stewardship groups can achieve in a short time.
